Alan Thornton - really, you should get 2 wetsuits, but, if you can't, maybe get a 3/4 mm, then just wear boots, gloves and hat when it gets colder around December until end of April. Make sure it's blind stitched.

Hey guys,
Can't believe this time yesterday I was in wooly :(.
I was only down for the weekend, moving in furnature to our new flat in rockfeild road!
Shame about the weather! certainly picked a good weekend to go!

But anyway, Il be down again within the next month and next time I'll be getting a wetsuit, what thickness should I get? confused
Most of the time I'll be down in the summer, but I could be down any time of the year really! is it better to get a winter suit to be on the safe side? or are they unsuitable for summer use?

cheers,

Alan

Hi Rob,
I don't hire out boards myself but if you come and see me I will tell you the best place to surf that day and where to get your gear from, no need to hire for the whole weekend unless you plan on sticking with the same break or you got a nice big van to store it all in.

wink

Now all you got to do is pray for some waves.

Hi trev,
Heading over to see you this weekend. Can we hire surfboards at wooly, croyde and saunton (depending where is best) or is it best to hire 1 for whole weekend from 1 place? Do you hire out surfboards?
Rob wink

They sell Dempsey surfboards at Redwood Surf Shop [www.redwoodsurfshop.co.uk] in Croyde, if that helps.
